What is this? When did you ask Scott for this domain name? First of all - no requests are ever to go to datacom without mine or Sam's premission. Second, they will literally kick you out of the university for having this up. This site needs to be taken down immediately. Having it out of your afs space where you are solely accountable is one thing and your decision - but to register it as a domain - what are you thinking?! This is total abuse of the ability to register domain names out of our area. What do you expect us to say if asked why this site is running off asu's domain? If you have other related sites up you need to take those down as well.

Please follow up with us on this issue.

They are on to us!!! Needless to day, it was time to get our own domain. Thankfully we had other options open to us...

Angel is right on this one. In addition to other issues, The base-level domain (xxx.asu.edu,  w/out an 'area' designation ed.asu.edu, inre.asu.edu, etc) is a major issue politically w/in the University. All in all it could result in serious problems.

You should do it as a .org or .com. You are welcome to host it on rutabaga using whatever domainname you like.

Whew! That was my ass on the line there and I was only too glad to ge it out of the heat. For those of you who have been experiencing difficulties with the site, thank you for your patience.

The best thing that came out of all this is that we now own our very own domain name, honda-perf.org. We're also extending the usage of our new domain name to any one who has Honda performance related websites.

Please e-mail us if you are interested in this programme.
